Wendy West grew up in the northern Illinois suburb of Vernon Hills and attended Libertyville High School. She came to DeKalb to attend Northern Illinois University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 1996. Wendy has been involved in the securities business since 1994. In addition to her degree, Wendy also has her series 6, 7, 63, and 65 licenses. She is an Investment Advisor Representative with Harvest Investment Services, LLC which allows her to provide complete financial planning services to all of her clients.
Wendy's focus is on wealth creation, retirement planning, and wealth protection for families and individuals based on personal goals for family and community. She enjoys the relationships she creates with her clients.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with Dauchshund, Frankie, her nephews, Brandon and Jake, being active and outdoors, exercising, and watching baseball and football.
Wendy is a board member for Oakcrest DeKalb Area Retirement Center, Kishwaukee United Way, Ladies Night Out and Women of the Shield. She volunteers for the Meals on Wheels program as well as several other charitable organizations. Wendy served as the Chair for 2015 and 2017 IHSA Destination DeKalb, the state high school football championships that take place in DeKalb bi-annually.
